Installation

App and firmware on the PTS2 can be updated separately or together.

  • Place the required app and/or firmware versions from the table below on a USB-C stick (FAT32 formatted). Don't unzip or rename the files, add them to the USB stick exactly as they are.
  • Plug the USB stick into the PTS2's USB port underneath the middle hardware button*.
  • If the app or firmware version on the stick is newer than the version currently installed on the PTS2, you will be prompted to install the new app. Once this is completed, you will be prompted to install the new firmware.

* TIP: A right-angle adapter can make this quicker

 

Force an Update or Backdate to an earlier Version

  • To force an update or to backdate to an earlier version; change the version portion of the file name to 'force', as per the following example:

> Original: wb_pts2_v10025.pkg

> New: wb_pts2_force.pkg

  • Plug the USB stick into the PTS2 port underneath the middle hardware button and restart the PTS2 monitor by holding the power button down until the restart button appears on screen.
  • You will be prompted to install the new app. Once this is completed, you will be prompted to install the new firmware.

NOTE: Take care to match compatible app and firmware versions
