PTS2 Disconnected ErrorUpdated 3 hours ago
- This error message means that the connection between the main circuit board in the bike and the performance touchscreen (PTS2) has been severed and will prevent data being pushed through from the bike to the screen.
- To rectify this, firstly, ensure the handlebars are set within the maximum height limit; use the lock lever to lower them if they are above this line.
- Carefully unplug the data cable from the back of the screen – check both the cable and socket on the monitor for any damage, such as cable fraying or kinks, or broken or bent pins in the socket.
- Line the arrow on the end of the data cable up so it is facing you and carefully replace the cable, push it firmly upwards to ensure it is in place securely.
- Reset the screen by pressing and holding the power button for around 5-10 seconds – the screen will turn off and then reboot onto the Wattbike logo screen.
- If the error message still shows, there is likely to be a fault with the input socket or data cable and a visit to site will need to be arranged – please contact Wattbike customer service with the serial number of the bike and screen.
