WHY DOESN'T THE PROTON COME WITH A SCREEN? 

Given the range of app compatibility and ease of access to Android or iOS devices now, there is less need to provide a screen with the bike. This adds huge flexibility for the user to explore different apps and training content rather than locking into a specific app or way of training.
