Rotating the handlebars on the Proton

It is possible to rotate the bars on the Proton to suit your requirements.

To do this, remove the adjustment knob (1) and slide the carriage (2) off the handlebar stem. On the underside of the carriage you then need to loosen the 4 x bolts. 

You will then be able to adjust the handlebar tilt to suit.

Re-tighten the carriage and re-fit the adjustment knob and check the assembly is secure before riding.
