How should I set up my Wattbike AtomX?

Setting up your AtomX is simple and easy to do. Use the corresponding levers and adjusters to set up your AtomX to your preferred cycling position. Make all adjustments off the Wattbike.

1. Raise or lower your saddle height using the lever on the rear of the saddle stem. Pull the lever straight back and adjust the saddle to hip height. Push the lever back in to secure the saddle stem. Tip: We recommend your saddle is at the top of your hip bone.
   
2. Adjust your saddle horizontal position using the lock lever located at the back of the saddle. Turn the lever anticlockwise to loosen the saddle and slide into position, then tighten lever to secure. Tip: You can adjust your positioning to the nearest millimetre, perfecting your set up
   
3. Raise or lower your handlebar height using the lever on the front of the bike. To loosen the handlebar stem, pull the lever out, adjust the stem. Push the lever back in to secure the stem. Tip: We recommend your handlebar height is in line with the saddle height but this is subjective and down to comfort so please adjust to best suit you - as a guide you can have your handlebars between 4-10cm lower than your saddle height.
   
4. Adjust your handlebar horizontal position using the lock lever on the handlebar. Turn the lever anticlockwise and move into position, tighten to secure. Tip: You can adjust your handlebar positioning to the nearest millimetre, for extra comfort.
   
5. Finally, rotate the wheel on the Performance Touchscreen forward to tilt the screen into your preferred position.
6. The AtomX must be placed on a stable, safe, horizontal surface. Any small deviations in surface level may be corrected using the levelling feet. Use the levelling feet on the AtomX to adjust the height of each corner of the frame to stabilise the bike. TIP: We recommend using a Wattbike floor mat under your AtomX to protect the floor or carpet from sweat and fluid.

It’s really important that after adjustments have been made, the lock lever is returned to the fully locked position (FIG 2). If the lever is left unlocked (FIG 1), it is at risk of allowing the saddle or handlebar to slide down during use.
