My Wattbike monitor is showing a blank screen during the firmware update process

If you are in the middle of updating your firmware and your Wattbike Performance Monitor model B is showing a blank screen or what looks like a very faint, grey block over the whole of the screen, it may have accidentally been disconnected from the computer mid-update. If you have already deleted the firmware the monitor is 'empty' and will show this blank screen. Please try the following:

HARD RESET

Press 'Enter' + the On/Off button + use a paperclip or other small item to press the 'Reset' button on the back of the monitor. Press all three buttons at the same time. 

This will force the monitor into 'Program Mode' and you will be able to continue to update the firmware.
