Your PTS2 will charge when ridden. The screen will charge while the bike is being pedalled: the higher the cadence and power, the greater the rate of charge. This should keep the screen charged for several months on its own. However, it is good practice to top up the charge at least once a month. Ideally this would be done overnight. 

Your device was delivered with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable (wall charger not provided). You may need to remove the PTS2 from it's bracket first before charging.
