Removing the screenUpdated 33 minutes ago
- You may sometimes need to remove the screen from the bike to charge it or when transporting the bike.
- To do this, carefully remove the data cable by pulling down on the black plastic head and move the cable out of the way.
- Use a 6mm Allen key to loosen the two thumb screws on either side of the screen mount at the end of the handlebars.
- Remove the thumb screws completely, be careful to hold the screen up so it doesn’t fall off and not to lose any of the washers on the thumb screws.
- Once the screws are removed, carefully roll the screen backwards off the mount, away from the front of the bike.
- Reverse this process to replace the screen. Be careful to line the screen up fully with it's mounting before screwing the thumb screws in place to prevent these threading.
- When replacing the data cable, ensure the white arrow is facing you and push it firmly upwards to ensure it’s fitted securely.
