Charging your PTS2Updated 3 days ago
The PTS2 will charge while the bike is being pedalled, via the bike's internal generator; the higher the cadence and power, the greater the rate of charge. Regular use of the bike should keep the screen charged for several months on its own
The battery indicator is in the top left corner of the screen. You can check exactly how much battery is remaining by clicking on the symbol to see the percentage of charge. It will also show if the battery is currently charging
If the battery starts to get low, the screen may power down sooner after inactivity or may not turn on. In this case it can be charged externally
This is done with the USB C cable provided, plugged in to the port at the bottom of the screen, beneath the centre button. You can plug this in to any normal phone/tablet charger at the mains, using any USB C cable. It should take around 8 hours for a full charge from flat using this method.
You can remove the screen from the bike to make this easier. Instructions for doing this can be found here
It is also recommended to ensure the firmware and app are kept updated. You can check the current firmware version here. If you need any help completing this update, instructions can be found here.
